An established commercial mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of commercial projects across Sydney.
This role will see you managing multiple fit-outs and central plant upgrades simultaneously, with project values ranging from $250k to $5m. You'll provide strategic oversight, commercial management, and client coordination while leading site teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

About the Role
- Manage multiple commercial HVAC projects from tender through to final completion
- Oversee project planning, programming, and resource allocation
- Manage project budgets, cash flow, and commercial performance
- Lead and support site managers and supervisors across active projects
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, head contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Review and approve variations, progress claims, and contract documentation
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain quality standards
- Proven experience as an HVAC Project Manager
- Strong track record delivering commercial HVAC projects valued $500k - $10m
- Sound technical understanding of central plant, chilled water systems, and major mechanical installations
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and contract management skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Relevant tertiary qualification or trade background highly regarded
- White Card and construction induction training
- Salary up to $160k + vehicle + super
