Job description
My client is a well-established civil contractor delivering land development projects across Perth, with active sites both north and south of the river.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to play a key role in driving safety performance across their operations.
Based out of their O’Connor office, you will work closely with both office and site teams to ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of HSE systems across multiple projects.

Based out of their O’Connor office, you will work closely with both office and site teams to ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of HSE systems across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage company HSE systems, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards
- Conduct site visits, audits, and inspections across active projects
- Support site teams in delivering strong safety outcomes and promoting a positive safety culture
- Facilitate risk assessments, SWMS reviews, and incident investigations
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, reporting, and records
- Provide guidance and mentoring to supervisors and site personnel on HSE matters
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of safety policies and procedures
- Ideally 10+ years’ experience in HSE roles within civil construction or land development
- Strong knowledge of WA safety legislation and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to work closely with operational teams and influence safety outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong commitment to safety
- Immediate start available
- Metro-based role – O’Connor office
- $70 Per Hour + Super
