The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HSE Advisor to join the business and become a key member of the project delivery team. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and senior leadership, you'll take ownership of health, safety and environmental performance across major industrial projects throughout Perth.

This is an ideal role for an HSE professional who enjoys being visible on site, building relationships and positively influencing behaviours rather than simply policing compliance. You'll have the autonomy to make an impact while being supported by an experienced leadership team that genuinely values the contribution of safety professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion a proactive, safety-first culture across project teams and subcontractors
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and behavioural observations
• Lead site inductions, toolbox talks and safety workshops
• Partner with operational teams to identify risks and implement practical solutions
• Drive subcontractor engagement and ensure best-practice safety standards are maintained
• Assist with incident investigations, reporting and corrective action plans
• Review and support the preparation of SWMS, risk assessments and safety management plans
• Monitor compliance with legislative requirements and company procedures
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement initiatives that enhance project performance
• Build trusted relationships with clients, consultants and site personnel to promote positive safety outcomes

About You

• Previous experience as an HSE Advisor within commercial, industrial or major construction environments
• Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and construction safety systems
• A practical and collaborative approach to safety, with the ability to influence and engage people at all levels
• Confident communicating with subcontractors, site teams and senior stakeholders
• Solutions-focused mindset with a passion for driving positive change
• Highly organised with excellent reporting and documentation skills
• Relevant health and safety qualifications, with a minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
• A genuine desire to continue developing your career within a progressive and growing business
