This well-established and highly respected Tier 2 contractor has recently been awarded a marine infrastructure upgrade project located approximately 2 hours south of Melbourne. The project has a 12-month duration, operating Monday to Friday, with accommodation provided
Experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor on major infrastructure or marine projects will be highly regarded.
The Role
As the Health & Safety Manager, you will take full ownership of HSEQ systems and site safety performance, playing a key role in driving a proactive safety culture across the project.

The Role
As the Health & Safety Manager, you will take full ownership of HSEQ systems and site safety performance, playing a key role in driving a proactive safety culture across the project.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and administering project safety systems and processes
- Driving a strong, safety-first culture across all site activities
- Conducting audits to ensure compliance with WHS, Injury Management, and QA requirements
- Reporting directly to the HSEQ Director
- Managing and inputting OH&S data into the Incident Management System
- Leading risk assessments and implementing effective control measures
- Interpreting and applying relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
- Developing and executing best practice HSEQ initiatives
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety Manager or senior HSEQ role
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent)
- Previous experience on civil, infrastructure, or marine projects
- Strong knowledge of WorkCover and Injury Management processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Valid driver's licence
