Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily workshop operations and scheduling
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians
- Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Manage workflow, parts, and equipment utilisation
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement across workshop performance
- Proven experience managing or supervising a heavy diesel workshop
- Strong background working with heavy diesel equipment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Solid understanding of maintenance systems and workshop processes
- Trade qualified (Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar preferred)
Candidates with experience across a range of heavy diesel equipment commonly used in Western Australia will be highly regarded, including:
- Excavators (e.g. CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi)
- Wheel Loaders
- Dump Trucks (Articulated & Rigid - e.g. CAT, Komatsu, Volvo)
- Dozers
- Graders
- Scrapers
- Road Transport Equipment (Prime Movers & Trailers)
- Water Carts & Service Trucks
- Circa $165,000 + Super + Company Vehicle
