About the Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced Fleet Controller to join a fast-paced transport operation. You will play a key role in coordinating fleet movements, optimising delivery schedules, and ensuring freight is moved safely, efficiently, and on time.
Working within a refrigerated transport environment, you’ll manage daily operations across a mix of company vehicles and subcontractors while supporting drivers and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily fleet operations, including rigid vehicles and subcontractors
  • Plan and schedule efficient pick-up and delivery (PUD) runs across the metro area
  • Manage driver rosters and provide ongoing operational support
  • Monitor driver performance to ensure compliance with safety and customer standards
  • Prepare run sheets, manifests, and consignment documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities and assist with KPI reporting
  • Reconcile subcontractor payments and support cost control processes
  • Lead toolbox meetings and promote a strong safety culture
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, OH&S, and Chain of Responsibility requirements
  • Participate in weekend work as required
About You
  • Previous experience in a Fleet Controller or similar transport operations role
  • Strong knowledge of metropolitan Perth road networks
  • Solid understanding of transport regulations, OH&S, and Chain of Responsibility
  • Experience in FMCG, cold chain, or high-volume logistics environments (preferred)
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Competent across transport systems and general computer applications (SAP advantageous)
  • Proven ability to coordinate drivers and maintain performance standards
