Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 + Super

About the Role:
We are a well-established transport and logistics company seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to join our operations team. This role is responsible for the afternoon shift, overseeing a fleet of 12 trucks and working closely with drivers to ensure safe, efficient, and timely deliveries. The successful candidate will play a key role in fleet allocation, scheduling, and coordination, contributing to operational excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Allocate and schedule fleet resources for afternoon operations, ensuring trucks are efficiently utilised.
• Supervise and support drivers, maintaining compliance with safety, fatigue, and operational policies.
• Monitor fleet performance and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Liaise with internal teams to coordinate deliveries and provide timely updates to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, driver hours, and operational reporting.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in transport, logistics, or fleet controlling.
• Strong people management and communication skills, particularly with drivers.
• Ability to plan and coordinate resources effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of transport compliance, safety, and fatigue management legislation.
• Proficiency in relevant software systems (e.g., Excel, transport management tools).
