Fleet Controller – Transport & Logistics
Location: Welshpool, WA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Afternoon (13:00 – 21:00)
Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 + Super

We are a well-established transport and logistics company seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to join our operations team. This role is responsible for the afternoon shift, overseeing a fleet of 12 trucks and working closely with drivers to ensure safe, efficient, and timely deliveries. The successful candidate will play a key role in fleet allocation, scheduling, and coordination, contributing to operational excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate and schedule fleet resources for afternoon operations, ensuring trucks are efficiently utilised.
- Supervise and support drivers, maintaining compliance with safety, fatigue, and operational policies.
- Monitor fleet performance and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Liaise with internal teams to coordinate deliveries and provide timely updates to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, driver hours, and operational reporting.
- Proven experience in transport, logistics, or fleet controlling.
- Strong people management and communication skills, particularly with drivers.
- Ability to plan and coordinate resources effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of transport compliance, safety, and fatigue management legislation.
- Proficiency in relevant software systems (e.g., Excel, transport management tools).
