CGC Recruitment are looking for an experienced Estimator to join a highly regarded premium residential builder delivering architecturally designed homes across Sydney and regional NSW. Working closely with the Director, Project Managers, Site Teams, clients and suppliers, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of projects by providing accurate cost estimates, managing tender submissions and supporting contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.

The Role
- Lead the estimating and tender process from initial feasibility through to project commencement.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, tender submissions and supporting documentation.
- Interpret architectural drawings and engineering documentation to prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Provide pricing for project variations and support Project Managers and Site Foremen throughout construction.
- Source and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Present estimates and project proposals to clients professionally and confidently.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of estimating systems, processes and procedures.
- Monitor construction costs, supplier pricing and industry trends to support accurate forecasting.
- Previous experience as an Estimator within high-end residential construction.
- Strong understanding of Australian residential construction methods, building regulations and standards.
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Experience using estimating and construction software such as IPM, Cubit and Fieldwire is highly regarded.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of attention to detail with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Salary between $150,000 - $160,000 + Super.
