Estimator – 2 Month Contract (Immediate Start)

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team on a 2-month contract based in our North Sydney office, supporting an upcoming industrial project.
This role is ideal for an experienced Estimator who can hit the ground running, working across cost planning, take-offs, and pricing to support project delivery within tight timeframes.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for an industrial project
• Conduct accurate measurements and take-offs using Cubit Select
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Identify and assess project risks, opportunities, and cost drivers
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Assist in preparing BOQs and cost plans
• Work closely with project and commercial teams to ensure accurate pricing
• Support value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives

 
About You

• 5–10 years’ experience as an Estimator within the construction industry
• Proven experience on industrial projects (highly regarded)
• Strong proficiency in Cubit Select estimating software
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
