A highly respected builder who were established over 50 years ago initially in Victoria have grown from strength to strength over the years and are now known as one of the largest Tier 2 builders in Australia with offices located in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney & Adelaide. They typically deliver projects in the education, agecare, health and industrial sectors with their projects in QLD ranging from $20M to $200M.

The role –Estimating Manager – Brisbane office
The Queensland business which has recently secured near $200m of new projects and are currently in one of the busiest commercial builders in Brisbane. A rare opportunity has come available due to an internal move for an Estimating Manager to join the business.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Estimator who is looking to step into a leadership role or someone who is currently in an estimating Managers position with a similar size builder.
 
What you need to be considered
As a Senior Estimator/Estimating Manager you will ideally come from a Tier 2 or Tier 1 builder background and ideally have a mixture of experience with the sectors you have worked in i.e. commercial, health, agecare.   

You will also need:

• A construction related degree
• A commercial background
• A minimum of 10 years plus as a building Estimator
• Be competent in using Buildsoft
• Have experience with a tier 1 or large tier 2 builder in Australia
• Able to lead from the front and manage a team
• Show stability in your CV with previous employers
