Estimating Manager – Take The Lead…
Overview:
Since 2010 Westbury Construction have seen steady growth and current employ 43 staff and turnover $40m across two divisions; Construction and Building Services. Delivering a wide range of projects with State and Local Government they are well engrained in their market and well respected by clients, sub-contractors, and consultant teams.
It’s their open and professional approach to partnering has seen them flourish and continue to do so.
The Managing Director Darren is a down to earth, empathetic guy who believes in doing the right thing. He has a passion for his team which has seen great staff retention and seen people come through the business into senior management positions.
As an overview:
With a long-term employee retiring we are looking for an Estimating Manager to join the business and take the helm of the bid process. Current team includes 2 Estimators and a bid coordinator.
Fantastic opportunity to make the team their own and have a high-level view on the strategic growth. This is a hands-on role however you’ll play to people strengths, manage the bid process, drive excellence, and offer training and development to the junior members of the team.
Long term Darren see’s this role becoming a Commercial Manager or Pre-Contracts Manager role and he is looking for someone who has ambitions to fill his front-end responsibilities in 3 to 5 years’ time. Are you up for the challenge??
