The Company and Project

This leading established Tier 2 construction company have a goal to be "the best people to work with". With this in mind they have developed partnerships with a number of major clients and engineering consultancy firms. Within the civil space they specialize in delivering large and major civil projects such as road & rail, urban development, oil & gas, mining, defense and water.

Purely due to projects being won, they are looking to grow their team and are in need of an Environmental Coordinator to join what is an already established team. The project will be based in the Northern Beaches in Sydney and the client for this role will be for the Roads and Maritime Services (RMS). Experience on a project like this will be a door opener for future career growth.

Key Skills:

Relevant tertiary qualifications
Experience in environmental planning and construction environment management in Australia
A good understanding of RMS environmental processes and requirements (highly regarded)
Experience in developing environmental performance measure
Current drivers licence

Duties include:

Assist Project Management teams
Manager and deliver environmental assessment projects such as EIAs
Provide technical and planning knowledge to staff and clients
Working with Environmental Manager
Prepare environment assessment reports and EMPs
Conduct audits and site checks
