Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys including set-out, measurements, elevations, and alignment checks
- Interpret engineering drawings, construction plans, and technical specifications
- Operate and calibrate survey equipment including GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
- Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure project accuracy
- Prepare survey reports, documentation, and as-built drawings
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
- Assist with planning, risk assessments, and troubleshooting survey-related issues onsite
- Maintain accurate records and deliver survey data in a timely manner
- Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in a similar role within the civil and/or mining sectors in WA
- Strong experience using GPS, total stations, and modern surveying technologies
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical documentation
- Proficiency with survey software and data processing tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving capability
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Previous FIFO experience highly regarded
- Current driver's licence and ability to pass pre-employment medicals
- Full Australian working rights are essential
- Australian citizenship is required due to project requirements
- Dual citizens will be considered where secondary citizenship is held with the UK, USA, New Zealand, or Canada
- Base salary up to $140,000 + super (dependent on experience)
