CGC is working with a leading engineering consultancy dedicated to delivering smart, sustainable design solutions. Their Perth office is growing, and we're looking for an experienced and detail-focused Electrical Drafter to join their team.

About the Role
As an Electrical Drafter, you’ll work as part of a skilled team delivering detailed electrical documentation for building services projects across a wide range of sectors including commercial, healthcare, education and more.

Revit software is used on over 90% of their projects—so strong Revit capability is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and coordinate detailed electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, and models using Revit
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and other discipline drafters to ensure accuracy and integration across services
  • Contribute to the setup and maintenance of Revit models, drawing sheets, and standard templates
  • Implement NDY’s drafting and modelling standards to ensure consistency across projects
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and other consultants as needed during the design process
  • Support documentation for all stages of project delivery (concept to construction)
About You
  • 4+ years’ experience in electrical drafting for building services
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP – essential
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems within building design (e.g. lighting, power, comms, security)
  • Experience with AutoCAD (desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation quality
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Relevant qualifications in drafting, engineering, or design technology
