Our Client:
 
Our client is a state-wide Government organisation within the Transport sector who have identified a requirement for an Electrical Engineer (with traffic signals experience) to support Road and Bridge upgrade projects on a long-term contract basis.
 
The Role: 
 
Reporting into Senior Management you will be responsible for providing engineering support across a number of projects both at the front-end development and delivery phase of road infrastructure projects.
You will be involved with developing project briefs for nominated projects and identifying the needs and outcomes to be addressed by the organisation. You will responsible for traffic management plans, preparing/managing contracts and quotations, assisting with investigation issues, reviewing functional and traffic signal layouts and managing the risk.

Requirements:
 

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the delivery road & bridge maintenance or construction projects 
• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering 
• Traffic Signals experience – Highly desirable
• Previous experience within local or state government
• Knowledge of RMS processes and procedures would be an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
