The Client 

A leading national mechanical services contractor who are one of the main players within the Australian market are currently experiencing growth within their NSW team, and as a result, require a Drafting Team Leader. 

The client have successfully delivered and are currently in the process of delivering a number of high profile building projects within NSW and also Australia, consistently picking up work due to their strong relationships with a number of tier 1 and tier 2 builders. 

The Position

As the Drafting Team Leader, you will take responsibility for overseeing the design, detailing and BIM Coordination within the drafting team, whilst providing mentoring to junior drafters. The team is currently reasonably small, however there are expansion plans in place due to their success within the NSW market. 

Working closely with the Project Managers, Engineering Manager and Construction Manager, you will also liaise with the builders, architects and consultancies utilsing your BIM knowledge and experience. 

Requirements

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior HVAC Drafter / BIM Modeller who wants to take the next step up in their career. You will be driven and ambitious and have the desire to lead a successful drafting team. You will already have experience working on medium / high profile building services projects for a mechanical contractor within Australia.
