Job description
We are looking for an experienced Dispute Officer to join our client, an NSW State government agency, on a contractual basis.
Primary purpose of the role:
Provide information, advice and support to member and non-member decision makers and delegates to deliver quality and compliant end-to-end case management services for a range of complex matters, in line with
organisational policies and procedures to ensure a positive outcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- 4 month contract opportunity with NSW State Government
- 35 hour working week
- Immediate start required
- Offices are based Darlinghurst, NSW
- $51.78 - $58.93 per hour + super
Primary purpose of the role:
Provide information, advice and support to member and non-member decision makers and delegates to deliver quality and compliant end-to-end case management services for a range of complex matters, in line with
organisational policies and procedures to ensure a positive outcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex disputes to meet legislative and business requirements
- Effectively administer all correspondence and records and ensure the necessary action taken in a timely manner to ensure effective delivery of services
- Maintain and apply sound knowledge of current case management procedures and guidelines to resolve escalated queries
- Act as the point of contact for member and non-member decision makers and delegates to ensure the effective flow of information and resolution of complex issues in a timely manner
- Provide guidance and assistance to self-represented claimants,communicating complex practice and procedures in an accessible way, to ensure claimants have the fullest opportunity practicable to navigate the dispute resolution process and explore possible resolution outcomes
- Identify potential risks, issues and trends including suspected corrupt conduct and recommend policy and process improvements to mitigate risks
- Eligibility to work full-time in Australia
- The ability to work 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day
Previous experience in a similar role is essential - MUST BE DOUBLE VACCINATED
