They are known for their relaxed, professional and fun working environment and one of a select few builders in QLD who can pride themselves on their excellent staff retention rate. 

As a company they are known for delivering projects from $1M to $80M in both the construction and fitout/refurb sectors. Their projects are a mixture of commercial, industrial, retail and health and many of them are D&C.

The role – Design Manager
Their Brisbane office are looking to add a Design Manager to the QLD business and you will be the first and only Design Manager in QLD initially with the aim to grow the team in time.

This well-structured builder would prefer someone from a construction background and not an architectural background, candidates from an architectural background will only be considered if they have a strong history working for a builder on the construction side.

To be considered for this role you will have: 

• A completed construction degree
• A strong construction background
• Experience with a known builder as a Project Engineer/Design Manager
• Stability on your CV with previous employers
• Commercial/retail experience would be an advantage but not essential
• Able to lead from the front
• Ability to manage a team
