We are seeking a talented and creative Designer/Design Engineer to join a dynamic team based in desirable Pyrmont. As a Designer,/Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing and creating metal ceilings for Tier 1 Infrastructure and commercial fitout sectors. You will work closely with thee sales team to understand the needs and requirements of our customers and provide them with the best possible design solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales team to understand client needs and requirements
• Create and design proposals based on client specifications and budget
• Provide technical support to customers and contractors
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors
• Stay up to date with industry trends and materials
• Attending meetings on sites as required by the project

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or mechanical engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction material design and fabrication
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Inventor/Revit or Navisworks.
• Knowledge of fitout construction techniques and installation processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
