A busy, well-backed commercial builder in Brisbane is looking to secure a Design Coordinator as their pipeline continues to grow. This is a business that wins repeat work, runs structured projects, and gives their team proper backing to deliver.

The role
Working alongside experienced Design Managers, you’ll take ownership of coordinating design across multiple projects from front-end through to delivery. You’ll be in the middle of everything — consultants, approvals, buildability and supporting delivery teams on site.

• Drive the design programme to hit key project milestones
• Manage consultants and keep documentation tight and on track
• Run authority approvals from submission through to close-out
• Add value during tender stage around design, risk and buildability
• Support site teams through delivery and resolve design issues
• Track design costs, consultant fees and budgets

What they’re looking for

• 4–6+ years in a commercial D&C environment
• Architecture / Construction background or similar
• Strong understanding of how design translates on site
• Confident managing consultants and stakeholders
• Organised, proactive and able to handle multiple jobs
