Distribution Centre Manager | Perth (Forrestfield)

A leading national logistics provider is seeking an experienced Distribution Centre Manager to oversee a high-volume warehouse operation in Perth’s eastern suburbs.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational performance, managing a large team, and ensuring best-in-class warehouse, inventory, and safety outcomes across a major customer account.

The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take full responsibility for the end-to-end management of the distribution centre, including leadership of a large workforce, inventory accuracy, and operational performance. This is a hands-on role where you will lead from the front, embed a strong safety culture, and ensure efficient warehouse and stock control practices are consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership across the DC, managing and developing a large team to drive performance and accountability
• Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring full compliance with OH&S policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
• Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, dispatch, and inventory control
• Drive high levels of inventory accuracy through effective stock control processes, cycle counts, and system integrity
• Manage KPIs across safety, service, productivity, and cost
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Take ownership of budgets, cost control, and overall operational performance
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and inventory processes

About You

• Proven leadership experience managing medium to large warehouse teams
• Strong background in warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock control
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, with solid knowledge of OH&S and compliance standards
• Experience driving performance, improving processes, and leading from the front
• Commercially minded with exposure to budgets and operational cost control
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
