• Maintenance Electrician
• Full time, permanent position
• Day Shift (Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts) with flexibility across rotating shifts
• $55–65PH + Super + OT – Experience dependent

My client, a global manufacturer operating within a highly automated process environment, is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established site with strong safety standards and advanced plant systems.

The role

You’ll be working across a highly automated manufacturing plant, supporting production through a mix of preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and continuous improvement. The site offers a strong balance of hands-on work and technical fault finding across control systems and plant equipment. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day efficient running of plant equipment.
• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on plant and machinery.
• Diagnostics, fault finding, and troubleshooting across electrical and control systems.
• Support process improvement initiatives and plant reliability.
• Work across PLCs, drives, and automated plant systems.
• Provide technical support to operations and production teams.
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and site compliance procedures.

Experience:

• Trade Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 5 years’ maintenance experience within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience working with PLC systems (Allen Bradley / Siemens highly regarded).
• Strong fault finding capability across automated plant and control systems.
• Experience within process or continuous manufacturing environments highly desirable.
• Experience using CMMS systems (SAP advantageous).
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and proactive approach to maintenance.
• Forklift licence is advantageous.
