This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end customs clearance process for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while delivering a high level of service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customs clearance processes in line with Australian Border Force and biosecurity regulations
• Ensure timely and accurate lodgement of entries to meet service and transit deadlines
• Provide advice on tariff classifications, concessions, and duty minimisation opportunities
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, responding to queries and providing expert guidance
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase pre-clearance efficiency
• Ensure accurate data management and maintain client product files
• Liaise with internal teams, service providers, and regulatory bodies to support smooth operations

About You

• Licensed Customs Broker (essential)
• Strong knowledge of Australian customs regulations, tariff classifications, and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and meet KPIs in a high-volume environment
• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus
• Proactive, solutions-driven approach with strong attention to detail
• Well-organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
