We are seeking an experienced Customs Broker to join a well-established and fast-paced international freight and logistics operation based near Perth Airport.
This role sits within a highly compliance-driven environment supporting air and sea freight import and export movements across a diverse customer base.
You will be responsible for managing end-to-end customs clearance processes, ensuring full compliance with Australian Border Force and Department of Agriculture requirements while delivering a high level of service to clients across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and lodge import/export declarations in line with Australian Customs and biosecurity requirements
- Manage end-to-end customs clearance for air, sea, and courier shipments
- Ensure compliance with tariff classifications, duty rates, and relevant legislation
- Liaise with freight forwarders, transport providers, and government agencies
- Provide advice to clients on import/export requirements and documentation
- Resolve clearance issues and ensure timely release of goods through border agencies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure audit-ready compliance standards
- Support continuous improvement across customs and trade compliance processes
- Experience as a Customs Broker or in a customs clearance role
- Strong understanding of Australian customs legislation and biosecurity requirements
- Experience with air and sea freight clearances
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving logistics environment
- CargoWise experience highly regarded
