A nationally recognised head contract builder is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their growing team.
Known for delivering high-quality childcare centres, veterinary clinics, and medical facilities, this builder operates across new build, refurbishment, and civil works.
With a strong pipeline of projects, they are looking for a capable, well-rounded CA who can confidently support delivery from procurement through to final accounts.
The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager and delivery team, you will take ownership of the commercial administration across multiple multi-million-dollar projects.

The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager and delivery team, you will take ownership of the commercial administration across multiple multi-million-dollar projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, reviewing, and administering subcontractor packages
- Letting and negotiating subcontracts and supplier agreements
- Managing variations, progress claims, and cost reporting
- Tracking project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
- Supporting procurement across civil, build, and refurbishment scopes
- Ensuring compliance with head contract requirements
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting systems
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator with a head contractor
- Exposure to commercial construction, refurbishments, and civil works
- Strong understanding of subcontractor management and cost control
- Confident across variations, claims, and project financials
- Proficient with construction systems (e.g. Procore, Jobpac, CHEOPS or similar)
- Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects
- Strong communication skills and a team-first approach
- Salary package of $120K–$130K + Super
- Stable, full-time office-based role in East Melbourne
