This highly respected builder who have been established for over 50 years have created a fantastic name for themselves in all states of Australia.  This ambitious builder who were founded in Victoria over 50 years ago have been operating in the QLD Market for over 10 years now and are continuing to grow year on year focusing on projects in the health, commercial and agecare sectors.

About the Role – Contract Administrator
 
They are experiencing a high volume of successful tenders across QLD at present which has forced them to look at bringing in additional staff to assist in the delivery of large scale commercial building projects across the Brisbane. You will join a well established team and report to the Project Manager.  Your duties will include: monitoring contract requirements, submission of progress, variation and contractual claims.  You will also be required to correspond with the head contract and subcontractors ensuring payments and variation claims are processed and administration of RFI’s.
 
Skills and Experience 

• A completed Construction Management degree
• Must have experience with a recognised Tier 1 or Tier 2 builder
• Proven history on working on projects of $30M plus
• Experience in sub contract claims, variations, EOT’s and cost planning
• Able to understand contracts and determine key areas of financial risk
• Previous CHEOPS experience is beneficial
• Good communicator – verbal and written
• Hardworking, driven and motivated to succeed
• Ability to multitask and manage more than one project at a time
