Contract Administrator – 6 Month ContractHigh-End Commercial Fit Out Project | ASAP Start We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join a reputable commercial fit out contractor on a high-end commercial fit out project. This is an excellent opportunity to assist in the successful completion of a flagship project and work alongside a highly regarded project team.
This is a 6-month contract position with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
The Role Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you will play a key role in driving the commercial and contractual aspects of the project through to completion.
Key Responsibilities

• Contract administration and management of subcontractor packages
• Procurement and letting of subcontractor trades
• Assessment, negotiation, and processing of subcontractor claims and variations
• Preparation and management of head contract and subcontract documentation
• Cost control, forecasting, and budget management
• Preparation of progress claims and payment schedules
• Management of RFIs and project documentation
• Monitoring project financial performance and reporting
• Assisting with project close-out, defects management, and final accounts
• Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
• Ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle

About You To be considered for this position, you will possess:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction industry
• Proven experience delivering commercial fit out and refurbishment projects valued between $5M and $20M
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management
• Experience managing subcontractor procurement and variations
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline
