Our client is a leading delivery contractor engaged on a major water infrastructure project in Western Sydney. They are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join their team on a contract basis, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

Role details
- Location: Western Sydney (site-based)
- Start date: Immediate / ASAP
- Duration: 6 months + (extension likely)
- Work pattern: 4 days on-site per week
- Rate: Competitive daily rate (negotiable DOE)
- Engagement type: Temporary contract (PAYG/ PTY welcome)
- Administer subcontracts and head contract obligations in accordance with AS 4000 / AS 4300 or NEC frameworks
- Manage the full RFI, submittal, and variation register process
- Assess, negotiate, and resolve subcontractor claims and EOT requests
- Prepare progress payment claims and issue payment schedules
- Track project costs and assist with monthly cost reporting to the project manager
- Maintain contract correspondence and document control standards
- Liaise with the client, subcontractors, and project delivery team on all commercial matters
- Support risk and opportunity identification throughout the project lifecycle
- Demonstrated experience as a CA on civil infrastructure, water, or utilities projects
- Strong working knowledge of Australian Standard contracts (AS 4000, AS 4300) and/or NEC
- Proven ability to administer subcontracts and manage variations end-to-end
- Experience working with a Tier 2 or Tier 3 delivery contractor (head contractor side preferred)
- Tertiary qualification in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or similar
- Ability to commit to a site-based role from day one
- Full working rights in Australia (ABN holders and PTY Ltd contractors welcome)
