We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join a reputable mid-tier builder on a high-end residential fit-out and refurbishment project. This is a 12-week contract role focused on helping drive the project start-up phase, ensuring strong commercial and contractual foundations are in place from day one.
The Role Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you will play a key role in setting up the project for success. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can quickly add value.

Key Responsibilities:
- Letting and negotiating subcontracts
- Procurement of trades and suppliers for early works packages
- Preparing and managing scopes of work
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documentation
- Cost tracking, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Managing variations and progress claims
- Assisting with program and project setup activities
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction industry
- Strong background in fit-out and refurbishment projects, ideally high-end residential
- Experience working with mid-tier or reputable commercial/residential builders
- Ability to hit the ground running and work autonomously
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Available to start immediately or within a few days
