Project Value: $20M New Build
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join a dynamic project team delivering a $20M new build project on the South Coast. This is a contract position with an immediate start, ideal for a professional who can hit the ground running and drive contract and commercial outcomes through to project completion.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of contract administration for the project lifecycle
  • Prepare, review, and administer subcontract agreements
  • Handle procurement processes, including tendering and letting packages
  • Assess and process progress claims, variations, and final accounts
  • Maintain accurate cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project timelines
  • Liaise with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Contract Administrator on commercial or residential new build projects (ideally $10M–$50M range)
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, variations, and cost reporting
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational ability
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar
