The Company
  
Our client is a local builder developer that has been operation for 6 years and growing. Their funding is received from local banks and the developments are sold before construction starts. Currently they have 2 projects under construction and one kicking off.
  
This requirement is required to join the new projects worth $130M
  
The Position

Based in the office, close to the site you will work closely with the Project Manager overseeing sub contract administration. You will work as part of a 10 person site team and be responsible for
  • Tendering / scoping trade packages
  • Procurement
  • Variations assessment
  • Claims assessment
  • Document control / QA
The ideal candidate will have delivered at least 2-3 apartment buildings as a Contract Administrator.
  
Ideal background
  • Have completed a tertiary qualification in construction or engineering and have demonstrated experience working in the residential market as a Contract Administrator 
  • Have good buildability knowledge and be able to negotiate with subcontractors 
  • Be a self-starter capable of working without direction or micro- management
  • Have good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Project
Salary will depend on experience however figures of between $120K - $130K are achievable
