Since 2010 Our client have seen steady growth and current employ 43 staff and turnover circa $40m across two revenue streams (Construction and Building Services) divided in to two offices (Sydney and Newcastle) they deliver a wide range of projects with State and Local Government and a handful of private clients.

Well-engrained in their markets and well respected by clients, sub-contractors, and consultant teams which has seen them grow organically and sustain a strong P&L.

The role:  Construction Manager to General Manager opportunity.
 
Due to on going growth and a strategic vision / plan in place we are looking for a Construction Manager to come in and assist in movng the business forward with a long term vision to prpgress in to a GM role. 

You will be working with the Managing Director to upskill the current team, sreamline processes and proceedures and in time grow and expand the regional offices in Newcastle and Wagga.

The role is wide and varied working across the construction division assisting in developing smarter systems and procedures to reduce risk and improve bottom line.

You’ll be "hands on" across the projects working with the PMs to help upskill and fine tune their current systems with an eye on strategic growth.

It’s an opportunity to foster and grow a team while having a high-level view on the strategic growth of the Sydney branch and being involved in strategic work winning, smart project delivery, HSEQ compliance and Commercial / Contractual obligations; including P&L responsibilities.

Playing to people’s strengths you’ll work with an external consultant on staff training and development from top down, with a long-term plan to internally promote a SPM to Construction Manager and for this role to step up to General Manager
