We’re partnering with an established Sydney commercial builder seeking an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team.
  
This is a business where Estimators are valued as part of the project team — working closely with senior leadership, construction teams and clients to develop competitive, well-considered tenders.

You’ll be working on a diverse range of tenders including:

• Hard Dollar tenders.
• Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) opportunities.
• Design & Construct projects.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you’ll play a key role throughout the pre-construction process.

• Preparing detailed BOQs, estimates and tender submissions.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
  Managing subcontractor and supplier engagement.
• Identifying risks, opportunities and value management solutions.
• Supporting projects from initial opportunity through to tender submission
• This role will suit an Estimator who enjoys being involved in the bigger picture — understanding the project, influencing outcomes and contributing to successful delivery.

About You

• Proven experience estimating commercial construction projects valued $15M+.
• Strong understanding of Hard Dollar, Design & Construct and ECI tender processes.
• Ability to analyse plans, identify risks and develop accurate cost solutions.
• Strong subcontractor and supplier relationships.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience across commercial, education, healthcare, government or refurbishment projects will be highly regarded.
