A well-established commercial interiors and construction company is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team in Western Sydney. About the Role
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to manufacture precision components used in commercial interiors, including office furniture, reception counters, custom joinery, and other fit-out elements. You will work closely with the production and installation teams to ensure components are delivered accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce custom joinery and furniture components
• Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings, CAD/CAM files, and specifications
• Set up machinery, tools, and fixtures for production runs
• Perform quality checks on finished components to ensure precision and accuracy
• Maintain CNC machines, tooling, and equipment to company and safety standards
• Collaborate with designers, workshop staff, and project coordinators
• Assist with minor on-site assembly or installations as required

  
Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a joinery, furniture, or commercial fit-out environment
• Skilled in reading technical drawings and CAD/CAM files
• Experience with woodworking CNC machinery, including routers, edgebanders, and panel saws
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative production team
• Knowledge of timber, laminates, veneers, and finishing techniques is highly desirable
• Previous experience in commercial interiors or bespoke joinery is a plus
