Civil Supervisor - Pipeline Project (Contract Role)
Location: Approx. 40 minutes outside Brisbane
Start Date: Immediate
Engagement: Hourly rate
 
We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join a Civil Contractor delivering a water pipeline project for a major Tier 1 contractor. This contractor is well-regarded for self-performing all works, offering strong site control and a hands-on delivery environment.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Supervisor within the water infrastructure sector who is looking for a contract role on a well-defined project.
 
About the Role
 
You will be responsible for supervising daily site operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. The project scope includes:
  • HDPE pipeline installation
  • Excavation and trenching
  • Minor earthworks
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate direct labour on site
  • Plan, sequence, and drive daily construction activities
  • Interpret and execute 2-week lookahead programs
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Liaise with project stakeholders and site teams to maintain progress
About You
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience as a Civil Supervisor
  • Proven track record delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Strong background in pipeline construction, particularly HDPE installations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage crews and self-perform works
  • Highly competent in planning, sequencing, and short-term programming
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
