Civil Night Shift Supervisor - Road Works | Western Sydney | Night Shift | Contract
Start: ASAP Duration: 2-3 months Hours: Night shift Location: Western Sydney Rate: Competitive hourly rate | Paid weekly
The Project
A leading principal contractor is delivering a road project across Western Sydney and requires an experienced Civil Supervisor to join the team immediately on a contract basis. Works are conducted under night shift conditions, with a strong focus on programme delivery, safety compliance, and quality outcomes.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of civil construction activities, subcontractor management, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of civil construction activities, subcontractor management, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising civil construction activities across road and pavement works
- Managing subcontractors and labour on site
- Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to the PM
- Ensuring compliance with the project WHS management plan
- Conducting and documenting toolbox talks, pre-start meetings, and inspections
- Coordinating with the traffic management team and relevant authorities
- Maintaining site diaries, daily reports, and relevant site documentation
- Minimum 5 years' experience in civil construction, with road/pavement works exposure
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leading hand role on civil infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of WHS obligations on live road environments
- Traffic management awareness (TMA or equivalents an advantage)
- NSW-based and available to commence immediately
- White Card and relevant licences held
