The Project
 
A leading principal contractor is delivering a road project across Western Sydney and requires an experienced Civil Supervisor to join the team immediately on a contract basis. Works are conducted under night shift conditions, with a strong focus on programme delivery, safety compliance, and quality outcomes.
 
The Role
 
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of civil construction activities, subcontractor management, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
 
Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising civil construction activities across road and pavement works
• Managing subcontractors and labour on site
• Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to the PM
• Ensuring compliance with the project WHS management plan
• Conducting and documenting toolbox talks, pre-start meetings, and inspections
• Coordinating with the traffic management team and relevant authorities
• Maintaining site diaries, daily reports, and relevant site documentation

About You

• Minimum 5 years' experience in civil construction, with road/pavement works exposure
• Prior experience in a supervisory or leading hand role on civil infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of WHS obligations on live road environments
• Traffic management awareness (TMA or equivalents an advantage)
• NSW-based and available to commence immediately
• White Card and relevant licences held
