Civil Site Engineer - Technical / Office-Based RoleNorth Brisbane | Permanent Opportunity | Specialist Civil Structures Subcontractor
Are you a Civil Engineer looking to step away from the long hours and constant site-based delivery environment, while still remaining closely involved in technically challenging infrastructure projects?
We are currently seeking a Civil Site Engineer to join a highly regarded specialist subcontractor based on the North side of Brisbane. This is a unique opportunity for an engineer with strong civil construction experience to transition into a more office-based technical role offering genuine long-term work-life balance and career stability.
Working hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm, with weekly site visits as required and this position will suit a technically minded engineer who enjoys project co-ordination, documentation, planning and engineering detail, rather than day-to-day site delivery pressures.

About the Role
Working across major civil infrastructure and structures projects, your responsibilities will include:
- Co-ordination of external design consultants
- Review and management of internal shop drawings
- Programming and co-ordination of key project documentation during both precontracts and project delivery phases
- Management and documentation through precontracts, delivery and maintenance phases
- Supporting project teams with technical and engineering documentation requirements
- Conducting weekly site visits to maintain project alignment and technical oversight
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Degree qualifications in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3 years' experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Civil Contractor
- Strong exposure to civil structures projects
- Demonstrated TMR (Transport and Main Roads) project experience
- Excellent technical documentation and co-ordination skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- A proactive and organised approach to project delivery
