Our client is an established and growing construction contractor delivering large-scale commercial and major construction projects across Sydney.
Due to an increase in project work, they are currently seeking experienced Carpenters with a strong background in fire door installation, door frames and internal carpentry to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople looking for consistent work on major Sydney projects, with both permanent and contract opportunities available.
 
The Role
You will be responsible for the installation and completion of internal carpentry packages across major commercial construction projects, including:

• Installation of fire doors and door frames
• Internal door installation and hardware preparation
• Internal carpentry and finishing works
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans
• Setting out and accurately installing frames, doors and associated components
• Working alongside site management and other trades to meet project deadlines
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and quality
• Completing works in accordance with project specifications and relevant standards

 
About You
To be successful, you will have:

• Proven experience as a qualified Carpenter
• Experience with fire door, door frame and internal installation
• Strong commercial construction experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a larger site team
• Strong understanding of site safety requirements
• White Card
• Relevant Australian trade qualification
• Own tools and reliable transport

Experience working on large-scale commercial, high-rise, residential or major construction projects will be highly regarded.
