This client side organisation within the transport sector have recently had an increase in their current project portfolio and coupled with an ongoing capital works program, they have identified a number of upcoming requirements for specialist contract staff. One area where they have identified a need for project support is for a Business Analyst to support a major program of works.
The role will be responsible for providing research, analytics, reporting, and insights in support of quantitative modelling for Customer Service Directorate (CSD) based on usage, patronage, customer type and needs based propositions to create an informed segmentation model. This will be overlaid by station, line/area and time/day to provide a data driven insight base for station grade, customer type and any other contributing factors to create a Workforce Plan blue print for implementation.
Key challenges to the position include ensuring quality customer engagement when faced with competing priorities and timelines for service delivery from CSD stakeholders as well as delivering timely, high-quality insights to stakeholders when relevant data and information is incomplete or unavailable.
