Bid Writer - Construction (1-3 years' experience)
Northern suburbs office location | ️ Hybrid working | $100-120k + super (DOE) | ⏱ Immediate start available
A well-established national contractor is seeking a Bid Writer to join its large and supportive precontracts team based in the northern suburbs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a construction background and 1-3 years' bid writing experience who is looking to develop their career within a structured and collaborative environment.
You'll play a key role supporting the preparation of high-quality tender submissions across a diverse pipeline of civil, infrastructure, remediation, and building-related projects.

The Role:
Working closely with estimators, engineers, and senior precontracts staff, you will:
- Assist in preparing compelling, compliant tender submissions
- Coordinate and format bid documentation using the MS Office suite
- Support development of capability statements, CVs, and project profiles
- Maintain bid libraries and submission templates
- Contribute to continuous improvement of submission quality and processes
About You:
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- 1-3 years' bid writing or submissions experience (construction preferred)
- A background in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or related sectors
- Strong written communication and attention to detail
- Confidence working across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- The ability to manage deadlines across multiple submissions
- A current police clearance (or ability to obtain one)
