Assistant Development Manager - Residential Apartments - Sydney

The business:                   
Originally based out of Brisbane growing into Sydney, my client is a privately owned property development company that specialises in residential mixed use projects throughout Brisbane and Sydney.
This developer was formed in the late 90's and has delivered over a billion dollars in predominantly residential developments. They are also able to boast a strong track record of delivering good returns to investors.
  
They now have a planned project pipeline worth 3 Billion dollars to complete in the next 5 years, and circa 700 million dollars of this already under development.
My client prides themselves in quality of finish which has represented excellent value for investors and owners.
  
The position:
The Development Director is looking to grow his team.
He has an excellent reputation and comes with strong references from Senior and Major influences in the industry; not just that, he is a great guy and I can imagine a pleasure to work with.
He has recently been promoted into the Development Director position and have identified this position of Assistant Development Manager as a position he has sign off for and keen to hire as soon as the right candidate presents themselves.
  
At present they has 5 live developments in Sydney.
  • 2 are now projects and in the early stages of delivery
    • Development responsibilities for these two would include; coordination of sales and marketing, dealing with and managing the funding
  • 3 are in the early development stage with initial DA’s approved
    • Development responsibilities for these 3 would include; scheduling of finishes, management and contracts, PCG meeting, managing consultants, liaising with council when required, managing funds, coordination sales and marketing through to completion.
Promotional criteria will be put in place so that you know what you should be aspiring to meet targets, achieve bonus and promotion to the next level.
  
My client is looking for someone with local NSW residential apartment development experience between 6 months to 3 years and a relevant degree on construction, property or engineering.
