The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager. In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal role in leading the successful delivery of social infrastructure projects across Brisbane and wider Queensland. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for social infrastructure projects, from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, architects, engineers, contractors, and community groups.
- Proactively identify and secure new social infrastructure projects, leveraging your expertise and relationship-building skills.
- Build and lead a high-performing project management team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Develop and implement effective project plans, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Oversee project contracts, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare clear and concise project reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, preferably within the social infrastructure sector.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to scope.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and relevant Australian building codes and standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach with a focus on business development.
- Excellent project management skills, including experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
